Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you archiving human rights events?

We believe that the human mind tends to forget. So, we are establishing an archive to catalogue events that are taking place throughout time to learn from what we have done (both good and bad) and how to direct our future.

Can I reproduce or redistribute articles found in your archives?

Yes! Our archives are published under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license. If you have questions or concerns about that, please read the license terms here or email copyrights@rightsarchived.org.

How do I contribute?

If you would like to contribute to our photojournalism archives, please email journalism@rightsarchived.org, we also recommend that you take a look at our volunteer opportunities page, located here.

Can I contribute photos/articles only?

Yes! We are looking for photographers & journalists alike.
